Canon PIXMA iP4700 User Manual Pdf

The PIXMA IP4700 is a tad smaller than the MP and MX range of Canon all-in-one, but still can not be described as small. With high-gloss black top, side and front panel, was quick to pick up fingerprints, but still smart for all that.

It has some design elements from the all-in-one siblings, including a twin paper trays. A cover on the back of the top cover folds and extends into the rear tray 150 sheet paper cassette and 150-sheet there, which slides under the machine, too, although it still extends from the front of the machine. Canon recommends you load photo paper in the rear tray and plain paper in the cassette, but it will take a good rear tray.

Front panel of the machine folds down and extends into the output tray and there is a flip-down cover that opens to reveal an internal slot for inserting carrier CD / DVD, because the machine can print directly on discs coated suit.

Controls and indicators are minimal, with the power button and light weight set into the curved front right corner. There are buttons and indicators feed directly below, but that’s it for physical controls. There is no memory card slot, which is a shame on a good machine for the photo, but there is a PictBridge socket. At the back is a single USB socket, the sole data connection on the computer PIXMA IP4700.

Canon provides a standard suite of applications support, including web printing facility that automatically adjusts the width of a web page, so that they fit on the paper. Drivers for Windows and OS X are provided, but there is no mention of Linux compatibility.
